Day 2885: My sky is pink -

Somewhere between ‘settling for blue sky’ to ‘painting my sky pink’, I feel I have grown up.

Somewhere between ‘giving up to my fears’ to ‘not scared of getting scared’ I have grown up.

This picture was taken on 8 June 2018, on our annual outing with our work colleagues. On a beautiful sunny Friday afternoon we met at Westminister, took a river cruise to Cutty Sark, had some beverages, headed back to Covent Garden and had a great meal; creating fond memories - painting a beautiful picture to last a lifetime - making friends.

Straight lines and curves:

How boring it would be if everything was linear; if everything was regular. Different shapes has shaped life and nature and made it interesting. Yet, why do we complain about irregularities and our dependence upon it?

London eye, it would lose so much of its beauty had it been created with only one shape.

Day 2881 - ‘Yatra’ - releasing on 7 August 2020

We all have traveled. Some have been accomplishment and others have been disappointment. But, it’s all about the journey, from one place to another, from one person to another, from one role to another, from start to end, from birth to death. The only thing that is constant; journey.

This song is to never giving up and embarking upon the journey.

The footage used here is by one of my very good childhood friends, Mohan, with whom I have accomplished many journeys of life.

In less than 24 hours our second single ‘Yatra’ will be releasing on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and YouTube.

Day 2880 - Making of 'Yatra'

'Yatra - journey' - will be releasing on 7 August 2020.

During the quarantine time due to Covid Pandemic Ash created the initial track of this song with Shoe Bit. When we were allowed to break the lockdown, SAD (Shoe Bit, Ash and Dilip) lot put lot of effort on the song, in Nottingham. That is where Stiphan and I travelled too to work on the song as a band.

I took three half-days off work to go to studios. All in all, as a band, we only worked three sessions in studios to complete this song.

'Yatra' has a summery-travelling vibe to it to match current summer and holidays period. Probably, much needed during this pandemic times. We feel this song is technically more mature than our first single 'Hey Maya'.

Madan has given us lots of help and support to complete the song and to record, so we thank him and Stanwell Studio for recording the song.

We hope you all will listen and like the song. We are open to comments and suggestions.
